On the 11th and 12th of October 2007, the Third Easy Investment forum has taken place in Estoril, Lisbon, Portugal, hosted by Gesventure.

During the two days event 21 European companies, previously selected by a panel of European experts, presented their businesses to over 100 business angels, seed funds and VCs, from across Europe, interested in early stage finance.

The criteria for the companies’ identification included the need for a marked international focus combined with high growth potential in the agreed sectors- Life sciences, Environmental Sustainability and ICT (including software).

The first session of pitching presentations was held on the 11th, accompanied by one to one meetings between the entrepreneurs and the investors to get acquainted with each other, while the second pitch presentation session occurred on the 12th. After the presentation stage, entrepreneurs had the chance to encounter investors interested in their potential businesses (one to group), in cross border syndications meetings, to lay the foundations for actual future business partnerships.
