An Italian firm established by three Computer Engineers at the Polytechnic of Milan, benefiting from the first transnational EASY event.

Capital Angels, the first international event of the EASY project which included over 300 investors from France including 90 from EASY partners in France and 30 visiting investors and entrepreneurs from the EASY partners in Italy, Spain, was held in Paris on 4 April 12-007.

• French BA’s Group and Spanish Venture Capital Group, following a first interview, have shown interest in creating synergies amongst it2 B and Spanish enterprises operating in the health sector
• Paris Business Angel expressed interest in both the financial and operational/competence investments
• Italian Venture Capital Group has initiated a due diligence process, with registration and term acceptance forms in progress

It2B established by three Computer Engineers at Polytechnic of Milan, operates in the Italian and international medical market with the product Hospital®.

It starter operation back in 2004, as one of the start-ups of the incubator of Polytechnic of Milan, thanks to the acknowledgment of the innovative value of the project wHospital®.
In the spring of 2005 it obtains the first public funds (250.000€) for the product wHospital®, and in December of the same year a Business Angel, member of IBAN, invested in IT2B.
In the fall of 2006 the first installation of wHospital® is accomplished in the Hospital of Busto Arsizio and presented to the media and the national press.
In Jan. 2007 Hospital®’s installation starts at other 5 further wards of the Busto Arsizio’s Hospital.
In March 2007 the Value of Project Portfolio and Sales Orders under negotiation, was over € 300k, by March It2B had obtained € 200,000 Mid Term Loan from 1 Bank (the financing is in progress).

The It2B’ key-product - wHospital® is the only application for electronic tracking and management of clinical processes and patient records, conceived by Doctors and clinical Professionals. Each process mapped in wHospital® has been engineered and developed applying unique and innovative methodologies. Recognized as the “best practice in Clinical Engineering and Healthcare Information Systems” - 28th IEEE convention in New York, Aug. ’06. It2B have undertaken IPR steps.

wHospital® is a single solution enabling clinical risk management, increasing efficiency and supporting integrated cost control. The scenery of the world health market is characterized by: a steady increase in spending, with higher investment trends in home healthcare and cost effective solutions, integrating multiple applications.
