On the 4th of April the first international EASY Event entitled Capital Angels was hosted by Capital Week, one of the most important yearly meetings amongst entrepreneurs and investors interested in early stage investments, held in France.

The event, organised by Mar TECH & Finance with the support of France Angels, Paris Business Angels and Rhone Alpes Creation, focused on three key areas: “sustainable development, med-tech and services” providing an effective insight on future trends

• 350 attendees were present of which 30, were investors and entrepreneurs, coming from the UK, Spain, Italy and Slovenia, representing the EASY project.
• 600 business meeting were organised

During the Capital Angel event , 12 companies presented with 3 companies presenting from Italy, Spain and UK selected under the EASY project and a further group of selected entrepreneurs had one to one meetings with investors. There has been very good feedback from the investors and entrepreneurs about potential international investment opportunities identified.

The EASY-Capital Angels event has also been a significant opportunity for institutional and informal investors from France and other European countries, to discuss on common experiences and on the future of the early stage market in Europe.
